Vintage Chic Windmill Winery Styled Shoot

This styled shoot is what vintage wedding dreams are made of. I was blown away when I received this submission from Charity Mauer and have been counting down the days until I could share it with you. This was a tough post to put together as I drooled over each and every picture and had the most difficult time narrowing down my favorites. There are so many gorgeous and inspiring details in this shoot…makes me wish I could get married all over again!

From the photographer: This sweet vintage-styled wedding with a touch of southern charm was inspired by the Windmill Winery venue in Florence, AZ, where brides flock to escape the desert landscape for a sweet barn wedding. I collaborated with a crew of amazingly talented women in the wedding industry to create a shoot that brought a feeling of sweet love to life! I love the Windmill Winery for it’s rustic feel, and absolutely can’t get over the fact that they have chickens and a turkey that roam the property at their leisure! Our models, Alex and Krystal, are a real life couple who just celebrated their first year of marriage. They were so excited to get back in their garb and Krystal had so much fun playing bride all over again.

We went for a feminine color palette of aqua and pink, and were so ecstatic to find even a pair of boots to match! Kathy from Something Old, Something Older, created a beautiful setup with mismatched vintage crates to give us a cake stand. She set our sweetheart table with vintage dishes, including the cutest little teacups, and created a chic setup for guests to comfortably lounge for cocktail hour. Sarah, who is extremely talented and who I admire for her lovely creative eye, made stunning florals to bring our color scheme to life. Amy of Page and Mason Invitations made a creative and unique favor with wildflower seed paper for guests to take home and plant as a remembrance of the couple and their wedding day.
